I have been given the Blog of the Year 2013 Award from http://publictransituser.wordpress.com/ Thank you so much!
I haven’t been accepting awards officially on my Sage Doyle blog, but once you see my acceptance here you may understand part of the reason why. The hardest part is nominating other bloggers. I don’t have much time for the process. My process entails sorting through every single blog I’m following, and I’m always concerned I’ll leave someone out. Well, I never bothered making my Wall Grimm blog award free because, to be honest, I never expected it to receive any awards. But now that I have received my very first award for Grimm, I am intensely honored and I have to accept.
When it came down to the blogs that I wanted to award, again I was afraid I’d forget someone. There have been a lot of invaluable people who have supported me through this process or encouraged me to make this happen. There have been so many loyal readers and people who’ve gone through Grimm’s journey on my Sage Doyle blog. The task seemed almost impossible to me to award everyone that has been in some way part of Grimm’s growth. As a result, I decided to award everyone who has followed this blog. You may see 1500 something followers when you choose to follow, but keep in mind that includes Twitter. I actually have 118 followers. A handful of those come by and like the posts. And even fewer comment. I’m truthfully not one to count the numbers, but I just wanted to acknowledge the readers who followed me over from the old blog, and welcome the new followers. I want to thank everyone who’s followed this blog even if they haven’t read any of the posts. I want to express how valuable those who like the posts are to me. There were so much criteria for selection that I came up with, I thought this was the best way to express my gratitude.
I am awarding 117 followers. It will take me a little time to make my way around notifying everyone of the award, so bear with me in case the pingbacks fail, or if you receive a pingback prior to my notifying you, or if I notify you after you’ve already seen your name and accepted. It’s a lot to keep track of. Also, please forgive the impersonal “form” notification as I copy and paste. If by any chance you are following me and I somehow missed you, let me know, it was a mistake. Lastly, if you’re not a blog to accept awards, I obviously understand that. Awarding you is my way to thank you and it is of no insult to me if you decline.
The 118th follower is a spam porn chat room so…yeah, I’ll disregard that one.
And I want to thank the spammer who said this “You are amazing as your perform and I genuinely consider that this is a great subject matter to share….”
And I will ignore the troll who said this “You use the word “orgasm” so casually and in public, like so many sexual sociopaths.”
And I won’t be awarding either of them.
Anyway, thank you Sweetness at http://publictransituser.wordpress.com/ once again for this award. I am deeply honored.
